Meet the Team

Chair of trustees

Ibrahim Syed

Ibby is a final-year medical student, at the University of Birmingham, England who developed a deep connection to Cambodia while completing his medical elective in Kampot. Witnessing the barriers faced by vulnerable communities in accessing healthcare inspired him to help establish the Syed & Eliza Health Foundation.

Trustee

Andrew Charlton

Andrew is an British dual Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care Consultant with a strong interest in tropical medicine and global health. He has experience of healthcare delivery in NGO settings in South Asia and South-East Asia

Trustee

Azaire Hakim

Azaire has longstanding commitment to charitable work across South Asia, including Pakistan. Azaire will be involved in the day to day running and we hope he will add insight from a non medical background on decisions relating to charity expenditure and aims.  

Volunteer with us
 

We will travel to Cambodia regularly to carry out charitable work and volunteering in Kampot. If you feel you could help us in anyway on the ground or by donating supplies please let us know :)
